Janet Roche, MDS, CAPS
Co-Founder of Trauma-informed Design Society
Janet is a leader in designing for human health and wellness and a faculty member at the Boston Architectural College (BAC). She specializes in Trauma-informed Design, universal design and creating environments for those who are aging in place or seeking accommodations for other human conditions. She hosts and co-produces her own podcast, Inclusive Designers, as a collaborative forum for designers to share creative ideas for different human conditions for inclusivity, equality, and diversity. In addition to her Masters in Design for Human Health from BAC, she holds a B.S. in Social Work from Boston University and a Certificate of Business and Management from Harvard University Extension School.
Cherry Melissa Price, MA, MEd
Educational Specialist
Cherry is an educator in Maryland's Prince George’s County Public Schools for 27 years. After teaching high school social studies for 10 years, she held a variety of other educational positions. She is certified as a trauma-informed facilitator and presenter by the Maryland Family Tree, in partnership with the Maryland State Department of Education. She earned her second Masters degree in Education in Trauma and Resilience in Educational Settings, with a focus on trauma-informed interventions in early childhood classrooms.
Nancy Barber, LICSW, MSW, MEd
Clinical Specialist
Nancy brings a rare combination of strengths to the team. She is a clinical social worker licensed in both Vermont and New York State. She is also a certified and licensed educator in both states, with a Masters of Education. After teaching in the Binghamton region of New York for 28 years, she earned her MSW and transitioned into a new career as a therapist. Nancy steadily worked with families and children in both states, and is currently a middle school counselor serving fifth and sixth graders.
Anthony Cowart, MBA
Data Analytics Finance
Anthony is the team's data analytics specialist. As a consultant with Massachusetts Analytics, he studies and analyzes organizational data and predicts market trends to inform recommendations to help clients achieve their goals. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance, and was a member of the Royal Bank of Canada's (RBC's) Asset Securitization Group for over 21 years. As Director of Securitization Finance, Tony was responsible for the funding of multiple
asset-backed securitization conduits funded in the US and Canada. Throughout his 21 years at RBC, he was responsible for pricing these debt instruments to maintain liquidity on a portfolio that at times exceeded US$30 billion of commercial paper outstanding. This required forecasting global macro economic trends, analyzing the effects of those trends, and predicting resulting market trends and economic events.
